Sick beat, great rhythm in your rhymes and great lyrics. I would just like to hear more "on the table". Like lean into the feeling and give it some energy. Whatever that energy is. I can feel the edges of it but I think there’s a lot more room there that you can explode into. Not necessarily volume (although it could be)…more vulnerability/attitude/emotion. Let us in more. I feel like I want more of what these rhymes mean through your performance of them.
One interesting exercise is to re-sing/rap the whole thing again at full volume. Almost yelling it the whole way through. Maximum energy, over the top, just ridiculous energy. Just to see where the top is. Then scale it back a few levels and do it again. Keep doing it until you find the level of energy that feels interesting. Sometimes hard to find a place to do it but I always find a car ride is good for some high-energy lyric testing.
As for feedback for the track, I think it’s great. I think don’t get too caught up in what it needs at this point. Just keep creating. Follow what feels right for you. When faced with a decision whether to create more or not, usually pick the create more option… if you don’t like it, just delete it. When you create more, at least you have the choice. It also lets you explore different avenues rather than just imagining what they could be.
Work with some ppl and other singers and that sometimes helps inform decisions about structure. Just follow your gut, it won’t let you down.
Congrats on the first upload, the hardest part is over. Now just keep going 😀

It feels like the kick is almost swallowing something up. I cant tell for sure but maybe your kicks clashing with something in the upper mids. I see the vision though and know the emotion you’re striving for, there’s this Portuguese word called Saudade that is this bittersweet/longing/melancholia hard to describe but it has that feeling of longing.
2 things I’ll add though some hi-hat variation would go a long way maybe some slight variations in the hats every second, third or fourth bars, whatever feels right, maybe like ghost notes or just slightly different pattern to pique interest. This one might just be me but the vocal sample is nice and I think you had some frequency automation making it open and close but by the end of the track it definitely was a lot to hear “im in love” once every bar. you could maybe reduce how many times it hits maybe once every 2 or 4 bars that way it’s something you look forward to hearing as opposed to potentially something that is monotonous. In terms of replay value the number of songs I’ve wanted to play again because I’ve wanted to hear the vocal chop again they’ve always shown restraint in how it’s deployed. You want your ears to be eagerly waiting to hear the chop. if you like the every bar I’m in love, you would probably be able to achieve the same thing by giving us a break in the middle and then bringing it back to finish. I also feel like ive heard tracks slowly complete the phrase over time so like going from “im in..” to “I’m in love” but yeah i dont know if that’s the vibe.
All in all great piece man, i really see what you’re trying to do, hope I didn’t come across as too critical, i really do love the track much love & happy mixing

yo this is cool! Totally nailing the prescription. I can see the animated character in that stand still looping actions style. Loving the conga work. Spread across the stereo nicely.

Love how it starts off bro! Right into it and hums along a travelling rhythm! And yeah wouldn't hurt to add some extra elements like a lead, some drum fills to differentiate every 8 or 16... but don't underestimate the power of effects! Another banger my friend! Intro has a cool 90's vibe that I'm all about at the moment :D. I would love to hear some resampling on those vocal pads to glitch them a bit, and add some 90/00’s style breakbeat drums and samples. Would give it a nice vibe of organic sounds blended with mechanical glitches.
But they are just my opinions 😛

Really dig the vibe here! Enjoyed the stereo vocals - not sure it was two takes panned left & right or just an FX, but it added a 'weirdness' to the track which I enjoyed. Excited to see what you do with it. Seems like there is a lot of space for exploration and sound design as there are no percussion elements – the stuff you were doing at the end with the glides and pitch bends. Keen to hear where you take it though
