The chords that come in at the end could be an opportunity for you to flex your skills and do a bit of a solo. Nothing hectic, even if you just ran up and down the scales in between the chord stabs you have there… Even if it doesnt make the final cut, perhaps a challenge for yourself as I know you’ve been levelling up in this regard.

And especially since the overall tune is a sort of maintaining the same vibe throughout, a lil bit of spice at the end for the listeners interest wouldn’t go astray!

That gap at 1:14 tho! Reminds me how sometimes we tend to try and do too much for fills when a well crafted mute on most/if not all tracks, does the job – especially when you do it a tad bit early and brought it back the way you did.

Re: spoken word… what sort of vocal range do you have in mind/think would suit? And with your own vocal chops, are you looking to have someone else on the credits over the convenience of doing it yourself? Lovin the tune so far as per my guy x
