Yo man! Digging the coastal vibe on this. Some 16th note type sound could be good to really put something on the head nod you've already got going. Hey man I think this is really cool and love how you've included all the permutations that you've thought of. To finish this tune I’d pick a combination of the sections (8/16/32 bars) that you feel most and arrange them out into evolving so they evolve into eachother and then add your fav trimmings.. For example I really liked this funky 8-16 bar loop you had going from about 1:45 to make (say) a 64 bar section of that loop evolving with those pulsing trimmings and wayzzeee sounds like the Chem bros use. Keep as much variation of that bassline as you need cause that’s funky.
There’s some really strong loops in this.
That build up for example 2:49 really like that also..

Nice one blake. A beat seemingly ready for someone to pen a thoughtful verse about a past negative experience! Getting a cross over rap/RnB vibe from this-like it could go either way. What are you using to process your 808s? Is it a clean 808 + processing (saturation + low pass filter)

There's some strong ideas in this track. That percussion line combined with the arp in particular. The breakdown synth work is nicely detailed and layered–it's sustains interest.

Nice pat! vibing the sections in the arrangement and how the they flow into eachother, use of voice for rhythm and adlibs. Crazy how a simple synth tone that wafts in and out can punch through the mix! (in a good way).

Love it moso! that slap in the face at 58s is appreciated! Big attention switch. Sonics on the 808 Got that nice high frequency sizzle. Agree with baz interested to hear how it can form into the final flex. Is it finished? Great work. High standards moso!

Hey Teeks (and moso!), Dope. Feeling the overall frequencies and idea of the track. Your vox sounding really good. Mix Crtique: I'm wanting that Nebzy vocal solo to pop more. Mix Crtique: I’m wanting that Nebzy vocal solo to pop more. At it’s current level I think pieces of it might be dope as adlibs chopped into the background of your solo. But as It’s currently sitting (as a solo) feels a bit in the background esp after your’s being strong. Maybe some additional processing / fx? When the processing on Nebzy’s voice (2:49 “we should fiiiiind”) comes in for the hook its better balanced for the track.
Beat Critique: Beat is dope. I’m looking forward to hearing it with the added variation. I think it could swing more with the vocal track. My ears want that vocal track to stretch like a rubber band (respond to) the beat more.. I’m thinking a delay 20ms or something on the kick+percs/vox could assist with the line up of the emphasis points in the vox.

yo this is cool! Totally nailing the prescription. I can see the animated character in that stand still looping actions style. Loving the conga work. Spread across the stereo nicely.
