What’s good, good hood?
How should I finish this tune? Super experimental but excited with what it could be… I’ve included all the permutations in the preview. I’m keen to get y’all opinion on whether the last half should only be used, to sort of “dance-proof” it, or if I should continue working on the way it shape-shifts into a journey of sorts?
The Chembros reference is coz this tune reminds me how they artfully make odd sounds into classics. That’s the ambition here! Let’s gooo!

Overall, I love the beat and rhythms, and sound choices. Really makes me want to get up and dance, so well done for inspiring that!! A little refinement and it’ll be an absolute banger. Can’t wait 😄
Hey man I think this is really cool and love how you've included all the permutations that you've thought of. To finish this tune I'd pick a combination of the sections (8/16/32 bars) that you feel most and arrange them out into evolving so they evolve into eachother and then add your fav trimmings.Read more

To finish this tune I’d pick a combination of the sections (8/16/32 bars) that you feel most and arrange them out into evolving so they evolve into eachother and then add your fav trimmings.. For example I really liked this funky 8-16 bar loop you had going from about 1:45 to make (say) a 64 bar section of that loop evolving with those pulsing trimmings and wayzzeee sounds like the Chem bros use. Keep as much variation of that bassline as you need cause that’s funky.
There’s some really strong loops in this.
That build up for example 2:49 really like that also..
