Liberation through Amplification: Elevating Creative through Artificial Intelligence

The rise of AI has captured society’s attention in recent times. From venture capital funds to independent artists, the intrigue in this evolving technology has become a polarising force.

Concerns around AI often focus on its potential to replace numerous jobs, the fear of it spiralling out of control, and its pervasive impact on our lives. However, I believe these fears are misplaced. While the technology is undoubtedly transformative, my primary concern lies with the centralised frameworks of major AI companies and the privatisation of data. We have seen this play out in our current times, where Web 2.0 social media platforms have forced us to adapt our content creation to fit an algorithm that only benefits a few.

The future of AI is in our hands. Individuals need to take action and expand their toolsets to reduce reliance on these centralised companies.

Introducing Eden.art, an open-source community of artist-trained models for individual use. This platform, built upon Comfy UI and supported by open-source developers, creates AI pipelines and workflows to help artists, creators, and individuals harness the power of AI to amplify their creations.

With Eden.art, you can generate images through Stable Diffusion, train your own models, use other artists’ visual models, create language-based characters, and build narratives and styles through AI prompting and generation.

Currently, Eden is working on version 2.0, which will offer faster, higher-quality pipelines, AnimateDiff for video and animation output, and the ability to combine two artists’ models for a collaborative output.
